Sunday morning brings two opportunities
for WORSHIP
at First
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
8:15 am - Coffee With God
Informal gathering
discussing the scriptures for that day
and an informal service of Holy Communion.
9:30 am - Sunday School
Two adult Sunday School classes are available.
10:45 am - Blended Family Worship
A blend of traditional and contemporary music
with Sermon and Holy Communion.
A baby lounge, nursery,
and a special program called
"Worship and Wonder"
(for children 3 years old through 3rd grade)
are available during this service.
Open Communion
We practice "open communion". This means that
all followers (disciples) of Christ, whatever your church
affiliation may be, are welcome to participate fully in our services
of the Lord's Supper. We believe that it is Christ himself who
invites all who seek him to share in the feast he has prepared for
us.
